There are several options to attend the Frozen Lake Marathon. Lets explain your options and what they include:
BIB only
Secure one of the limited bibs to the fantastic 2027 race.
Half marathon: 1500 NOK
Marathon: 1750 NOK

The price includes long sleeve official race shirt and medal. Warm Soup with bread after the race is served for all participants.

Weekend packages
For a true Norwegian mountain experience, book your stay at Oset Fjellhotell (the official race hotel for Frozen Lake Marathon) through local agencies or stay at Storefjell Resort.

Local transport from Gol train station
400 NOK round trip per person to Oset and Golsfjellet Fjellstue *
* there must be at least 35 people on the bus within 30 days before the race. If not, the bus may be cancelled.

Transport
Train from Oslo
The easiest way to travel from Oslo to Gol is by train, it takes approximately 3 hours.
Nearest airport: Oslo Airport
We recommend that you arrive at Oslo Airport on Thursday the 26th of March or early Friday morning the 27th of March.
Take the train to Oslo Central station. From there a train towards Bergen. DESTINATION: GOL
How to get to the race arena
For International 4 day+ customers staying at the Oset Fjellhotell the transfer is included.
If you stay at the Runners World Camp at Storefjell Resort transfer can be booked at the reception at cost.
Traveling by car – we offer free parking at the arena.
If you drive yourself, look for Icedrive Events on your GPS or get directions from google maps.
4+ day international package
We recommend you travel with our international partners as they have an exclusive right to the four day packages – they will help you to fulfill your dream!

Practical information
Getting here
Transfer is included only for those participants staying at Oset. Furthermore Storefjell offers a shuttle service at cost. All other participants must cater for their own transportation.
Parking availability will be highly limited by the race area. There are a few parking spaces located close to the arena. Please equip your car with studded tires if you intend to drive to the starting area.
Bag service during the race
Participants will be able to drop one bag in the race area. Make sure your bag is clearly tagged at the top, before leaving it at the bag drop, to ensure a quick service when you collect it after the race. Please do not leave valuable items in your bag. While we do our best to keep your belongings safe, we do not accept liability for lost belongings and valuables.
Changing facilities & toilets
Tents for changing will be provided in the race area. The changing facilities are very basic, and we recommended that you arrive dressed for the race.
There will be portaloo toilet facilities available.
